Tabletop-network Speedpainting Competition – lovecraftian Demon painted in 30 minutes

so just for the fun of it i decited to eter a speed painting competition

i had 30 minutes to fonish the Miniature and i am surprised how well it turned out

 

it was a pretty fun competition to do and i can only urge anyone to try out competitions like this

but try to paint some unimportant model youve got because it would be a shame to mess up a great new model with a sub parr paintjob

I painted the mini using mostly drybrushing techniques…same goes for the base….

Wildork Dakkajet No. 2

As i am well happy with the Squigeon of Deff i decited to build me a second one

the wings are not as big this time ! A) because i couldnt find the dragon toy i used before and B) because i had these Mageknight Dragon wings laying in a bitzbox , and they fit the model well.

Also it looks different and is not as hard to transport 😉

for the howdah i chose yet another destroyed old revell jeep from my bitzbox, and chains….i want it to look similar to the other one  ( i will add some more chains to the front though , but i need to wait for the mail to deliver some more greenstuff so i can fix the throat.

I will also add a crew of 6 Orks, clinging to the howdah, to represent the weapons

for colours i maybe peint it yellow this time

just 2 pictures from a game i used my Wildorks in

….and got  anihilated by a flying circus 😀

I finally finished the Wildork Dakkajet

 

the weapons are obviously boys with dakkaguns strapped to the squiggoth

im well happy with how it turned out

from left to right …white primer,addition of evil sunz scarlett in different shades,brushing and highlighting with different tones of orange and painting details like teeth,addition of armypainter quickshade

i still need to add the Crew and anti shine primer, also i will do some finishing touches on highlights like the teeth for example
the next update on this model will be the finished thingCheers

Update on the Wildork Flyer or as i call it the Squigeon of DEFF !!

i finished the joints so far…i still need to remove mould lines on the front of its head , and repair some damages on the wings etc.You can see pretty good how i will add the “crew”/weapons to the model on the picture in the middle
