Got a new Camera and tested it out….

So i got gifted a Pentax K50 and must say it makes pretty good pictures

Pathfinder Battles – Gug

I finished another miniature , this time its a Gug , a creature living in the Dreamlands

“It was a paw, fully two feet and a half across, and equipped with formidable talons. After it came another paw, and after that a great black-furred arm to which both of the paws were attached by short forearms. Then two pink eyes shone, and the head of the awakened gug sentry, large as a barrel, wabbled into view. I didnt change as much as i do usually because Pathfinder Battle`s Gug is one of the few prepainted miniatures that does NOT look like shit !

But i did change a few things . I Repainted the Eyes , Claws and did some work on the mouth.

Reaper Bones – Tiik Warriors – Strange Aeons – Deep Ones

i just finished two more deep one miniatures

this time its the Tiik Warriors from Reapers Bones Series

I coverted the vl Deep one a bit by removing the lower jaw and changing the angle of the arm… also i removed the Anglerfish thingy growing from its forehead….. But i kept the one on the visual right side as it was manufactured

I wanted to buy those minis for a long time now….but had to order them through a local Gaming store cause the postage to germany was way to expensive to have them shipped to germany fropm the states

exspecially considering that the miniatures themselve are so friggin cheap to buy

i bought this off Mythos Foundry after one was left at the end of their Kickstarter

Reaper bones Cthulhu WIP

I added more eyes,replaced the wings and changed the angle of the head

also i removed it from its original base and placed it on a bigger one

2 Scrawny ones and Pentacles

I finished some pentacles to use in Strange Aeons

Trapped inside a powerful magic pentacle, the Scrawny One needs a blood sacrifice
to enter our world

The Miniatures are originally two small Cthulhu statues from fantasy flight games Bag of Cthulhu

i finished a new team of ” Threshold Agents”

now i have some Models that can fight off my hordes of Innsmouthfolk 😀

Reaper Bones Cthulhu Conversion

so i finally started working on my Cthulhu conversion

sadly i discovered that the head is so soft i cant paint it with army painter quickshader ( because it wont harden and will stay sticky ! i tested it on a tentacle) ….thus the mini wont look similar to the rest of my deep ones !

 

i really did not like the flimsy original wings that come with the model so i went to a Yardsale yesterday and bought some shitty toy dragon who i relieved of its wings

also i addet a few more eyes , fixed the gap between the body and the tail , and addet and will add a few more tentacles to the sides

i really dont get why i have not seen any conversions of this mini before, the material is great to work with

 

in the end i think it will make a great Godling for any strage aeons game to come !

Sitting Liddle Cthulhu

as mentioned in an earlyer post i picked up a Bag of Cthulhu  from Fantasy Flight Games

there are a LOT of figures in the box (24 smaller and 6 larger figures)

so i painted one to use as a Scrawny one in a game of Strange Aeons

it looks pretty great, and im impressed with the amount of detail on the figures….. a shame really that most of them will end up as Terrain
