Lovecraft Zoog PIP

im currently painting the zoog

Hp Lovecrafts Dreamlands Zoog

so ive buildt myself a Zoog

a Zoog is a creature from the Hp Lovecraft story The dreamquest of unknown Kadath . It is discribed as rodent like smaller animals with sharp teeth hidden behind tentacles

so thats basically what i worked from

I think i made the zoog a bit bigger than he imagined….but i allways imagined zoogs to be the size of something in between a cat and asmall child…mybe the size of a beaver just a tad bigger

the miniature is about 2 cm tall…..so its still way smaller then the basic 28 or 35 mm figure

 

im planning to cast it and if all works out well add it to the shop

 

Dreamblade Canis horribilis repaint

i did another dreamblade repaint

the mini is called canis horribilis and as im planning on getting a Herbert west miniature, ( im currently looking for fitting minis) i thought this may be a great addition

sadly i fucked up the before picture so i only have the final result…….

i dont have any idea how or if i ever may use this miniature….BUT  ! it was too funny andweird looking to not paint it

Daemon prince of Tzeentch

As im currently building me a low budget Daemon army i decited to make some Tzeentch HQs

the original miniature is a Mageknight mini

it works fine sizewise ( as i think the new GW deamnonprince is way to big !) and the new colours bring out the detail that is lost in the original

Cthulhu rising !

High Priestress of Cthulhu or another Dreamblade Repaint

So this time i repainted a Ghost of the key….and its surprising how lovecraftian the mini is

you cannot see the detail on the original because its made of pink see through plastic that sparkles :D. As i said to my surprise under that shoddy paintjob you can find a High priestress of Cthulhu if painted the right way

one of the best things is that instead of hair she has some webbed squid thing and herlegs strongly remind me of the girl in the movie Dagon. And the Tiara looks as strange as Lovecraft described it in Shadow over innsmuth !
